SmartIP is an innovative solution for hospital inpatients for convenient transaction inside a hospital campus. It uses a plastic card, embedded with a chip for identification, payment and other transactions. In-patient details and advance payments are stored into the smart card. The card can be used with a pin, for payment inside the hospital, in places like pharmacy, lab, x-ray, canteen, scan centre, parking lots and any other payment centres.
Altersoft provides Smart IP cards with pre-printed logo, hospital details and a unique number printed on it. Secure information like patient IP number, name, payment details, access rights etc. are stored inside. It is highly secure and nobody can duplicate it. There is a chip inside the Smart IP card to which we can write & re-write data as required.

Altersoft will provide software to issue this card and add cash to the card with administrative rights where the card owner can do the payment by showing the card. We will also provide software and smart card reader at different cash collection points like pharmacy, labs etc to redeem the cash and rewrite the card with balance amount It requires smart card readers and smart card reading software installed on all access points to make the payment. Hospital can also provide an information Kiosk for patients, to track their payment transactions using their SmartIP card
