TECHNOLOGY

RFID UHF technology detect vehicle from a distance of 10 to 12 meters and at a speed of 200 kph. The tag cannot be duplicated as it has a programmable chip inside with an identification number and it transmits this number without any external power. It can withstand any harsh environment conditions.

UHF Reader reads the signal of iTag on the windshield of the buses which passing through it. Then the reader adds the time and other details to its internal memory, which will then be transmitted to the Internet.

The RFID software reads all iTag Reader data and provides reports to evaluate and monitor bus time punching details. Reports can be generated daily, weekly and monthly basis through Internet according to users access rights. It will generate details like average speed of the vehicle, time-stamped trips, number of trips during a period and any other data required. Bus-owners have a user name and password to view their bus time tracking details. At the same time traffic police or any other authority can review the report with their own user access rights.

BENEFITS
  1. Proper time keeping of passenger vehicle
  2. It can be used for a real-time public transport information system for bus riders.
  3. Make bus travel more convenient and comfortable for bus riders.
  4. It helps public transport system to maintain proper route time.
  5. Terminal managers like bus operators, bus stand operators, traffic police, RT office and public can utilize thisinformation system for increased bus time visibility.
  6. Operators can use this data to improve management of bus routes and working personnel, like driver, conductor, checker etc
  7. The RFID system is very effective and attractive solution for providing vital real-time information about bus departure and arrival to bus-riders and to the terminal managers who control the bus routes.
OTHER BENEFITS

Existing manual or semi-manual system of time punching lack transparency in their operations . It is a burden to keep a traffic police on each punching station round the clock . It will not give automatic and real -time punching results as provided by iTag time track system. iTag time track system is the ultimate word in bus time punching solution, which generates report automatically by passing buses on each points and calculate the speed and generate an Internet based report which can be monitored by the concerned authorities.

FUTURE POSSIBILITY
Public Transport information system:

A well equipped bus-stop with LED display and Internet {GPRS} connectivity can display real-time bus arrival / departure information inside the bus waiting area.

SMS based bus time alert:

If bus timing information is stored in a centralized location, the software can automatically send this information by accepting an SMS request from any mobile phone. It will act just like a train time information system

bus-stand Automation

Bus bays in bus-stands can be equipped with iTag reader which enables alerting the bus drivers to leave and enter proper bay keeping their time schedule
